LAS VEGAS – Sebastian Fundora made weight with ease yet again Friday morning for his 154-pound title fight against Keith Thurman on Saturday night.
The 6-foot-6 Fundora, of Coachella, California, stepped on the Nevada State Athletic Commission scale at 153.6 pounds for their 12-round pay-per-view main event at MGM Grand Garden Arena. The 5-foot-8 Thurman, of Clearwater, Florida, came in exactly one pound lighter, at 152.6.
Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KOs) is unusually tall for his division, but the 28-year-old southpaw has officially weighed 154 pounds or less for 18 straight fights, dating back to April 2018.
The WBC super welterweight champion is consistently listed as almost a 4-1 favorite versus Thurman (31-1, 23 KOs, 1 NC) by most sportsbooks. Thurman, 37, has fought only once at the junior welterweight limit.
The weights for the Fundora-Thurman undercard are listed below, from top to bottom.
