The Website, App and Services are operated by Ring Magazine (“Ring”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services (whether as a guest visitor or a registered, signed-in user), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
These Terms incorporate and should be read together with:
our Privacy Policy;
our Cookie Policy; and
any additional terms (if any) that may apply to specific activities, such as (without limitation):
prize draws, giveaways, competitions or promotions;
subscription products (including access to the Ring archive and video content);
betting content; and
merchandise sales.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and any specific terms for a product, service or promotion, the specific terms will prevail for that product, service or promotion.

2. TYPES OF USERS
There are two types of users:
Visitors - anyone who accesses the Services without creating or logging into an account.
Registered Users - users who create and use an account (for example, to access subscription content, community features, or the Ring archive).
Some parts of the Services are only available to Registered Users, including (without limitation) access to the full Ring Magazine Archive and certain community features.
3. ELIGIBILITY & AGE RESTRICTIONS
By using the Services, you confirm that: you are at least 13 years old; and you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your country of residence, or you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
If you are under 18, you: must not access or use any betting-related pages or content; must not register or participate in any promotion that is restricted to users aged 18+ (as will be stated in the specific terms); and must obtain parental or guardian consent where required by applicable law.
3.2 Betting-related content
Certain pages or content on the Services relate to betting, odds, tipping, gambling, or betting partners (the “Betting Content”).
Betting Content is intended only for users aged 18 or over, or such higher minimum age as applies in your jurisdiction.
If you are under 18 (or under the legal betting age where you live), you must not access or attempt to access Betting Content or any betting-related links.
We reserve the right to implement age-gating and/or require you to confirm your age before showing Betting Content. You must provide accurate information and must not attempt to circumvent any age or access controls.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your access to and use of Betting Content complies with the laws of the country or region from which you access the Services.
We reserve the right to technically restrict Betting Content for signed-in users identified as under 18 and may display pop-up age confirmations for users who access Betting Content while not signed in.
For further important terms regarding Betting Content, third-party betting operators and your responsibilities, please see Section 10.
4. ACCEPTANCE & CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
By: using the Services; browsing any page; creating a user account; or clicking “accept”, “agree” or similar (where that option is presented), you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do: we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date; and changes take effect immediately when posted, unless stated otherwise.
Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.
5. ACCESS TO THE SERVICES
Access to the Services is provided on a temporary basis. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict the Services (or any part of them) at any time, for any reason, without notice.
We do not guarantee that the Services (or any content) will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of any suspension, withdrawal or modification of the Services.
You are responsible for:
making all arrangements necessary for you to access the Services (including internet access, device and software); and
ensuring that all persons who access the Services through your internet connection are aware of and comply with these Terms.
We may use automated tools to recommend content you might find relevant (for example, suggesting related articles or videos). Recommendations may be based on contextual signals (such as the page you are viewing) and, where you are signed in, may also take account of your interactions with the Services. More information about how we use cookies and similar technologies is set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
The Services may include interactive features such as polls, trivia, “who should they fight next?” voting and similar engagement tools (“Interactive Features”). Interactive Features are provided for entertainment and engagement purposes only and do not constitute official voting, judging, rankings or results in any regulatory or sporting sense. You must not manipulate or use automated methods to participate in Interactive Features. Further rules on behaviour, content and enforcement (including suspension, removal of content and account actions) are set out in Section 11 (Community Features, Comments & User Content).
5A. VIDEO CONTENT & LIVE STREAMS
5A.1 The Services may include on-demand and live video content (including interviews, shows, archive footage, behind-the-scenes content and event coverage) (“Video Content”). Some Video Content may only be available to Registered Users and/or to users with an active Subscription or ticket.
5A.2 We may use Third-Party Services and streaming platforms to host or deliver Video Content. Those providers may apply their own terms and policies in addition to these Terms.
5A.3 We do not guarantee that any particular Video Content or live stream will be available at any given time, or that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from delay. Live events may be time-limited, subject to change, or withdrawn, and may be subject to regional, device, login, age or other access restrictions.
5A.4 Unless expressly permitted by us in writing, you must not (and must not attempt to) record, copy, download, rebroadcast, retransmit, distribute, or make available Video Content to others, other than by using standard sharing tools we provide (for example, a link-share function) and always for non-commercial purposes.
5A.5 Certain live or premium Video Content (including pay-per-view or ticketed streams) may be subject to additional terms or fees presented to you at the point of access. If there is a conflict between these Terms and any specific terms for that Video Content, the specific terms will prevail for that content.
6. ACCOUNTS & REGISTRATION (REGISTERED USERS)
6.1 Creating an account
To access certain features (for example, the archive, personalised content, community features or some promotions), you may be required to register for an account.
We use a third-party authentication provider to create and manage accounts. You may be able to sign up or log in using third-party sign-in providers (e.g. Google, Apple, Facebook) or by email/password. The information we collect at sign-up will be limited to what is necessary to provide the Services (and may vary depending on the sign-in method you choose). If you choose to sign up or log in using a third-party sign-in method (such as Google, Apple or Facebook), that provider’s own terms and privacy policies will apply to your use of their services. Ring does not control and is not responsible for any third-party sign-in service (including outages, access issues, or changes they make to their login tools).
You agree to: provide accurate, current and complete information when registering; keep your registration details (including contact and payment details) up to date; choose a secure password and keep it confidential; and not share your account or login credentials with any other person.
We reserve the right to: refuse registration or username selection; suspend or terminate any account where we reasonably believe information is inaccurate, incomplete or misleading; and/or require additional verification (for example, age or identity) where reasonably necessary (e.g. for promotions or to enforce age restrictions).
6.2 Security & account misuse
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe there has been (or may be) unauthorised access, fraudulent activity or misuse.
6.3 App notifications
If you use the App, you may be able to enable device notifications (for example, breaking news alerts, new magazine issue alerts, or event alerts). Notifications are optional and you can manage permissions in your device settings and (where available) within your account settings. We do not guarantee that notifications will be delivered in real time or at all.
6.4 App platform terms and device features
If you download or use the App, your use of the App may also be subject to the terms and policies of the relevant app store or platform provider (for example, Apple or Google). The app store/platform provider is not responsible for the Services, and any support requests should be directed to Ring (unless the issue relates to the app store/platform itself). Certain App features may require you to enable device permissions (for example, notifications or access to local storage). You can control permissions in your device settings. If you do not grant a permission, some features may not function.
7. SUBSCRIPTIONS & RING ARCHIVE ACCESS
We may offer subscription products, including access to the Ring Magazine archive and/or other premium content or features (the “Subscriptions”). The specific details (price, duration, benefits) will be set out at the point of purchase and/or in supplemental terms.
Unless stated otherwise in the Subscription offer, the following will apply:
7.1 Billing
7.2 Non-refundable payments
All payments for Subscriptions are final and non-refundable, including in cases of partial use, non-use, early cancellation, or changes to your device, location or circumstances, except where a refund is required by mandatory law.
7.3 Automatic renewal
Your Subscription will normally auto-renew at the end of each subscription period using the payment method on file, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You authorise us (or our payment processor) to charge the applicable subscription fee on each renewal date.
7.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your Subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting us.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
No refunds are given for any unused portion of the current period, except where required by mandatory law.
7.5 Changes
We may change Subscription prices, features or benefits.
We will provide notice of any price change that affects your next renewal.
If you do not agree, you may cancel before the next renewal; continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
8. MERCHANDISE STORE
The Services may include an online store where we sell: Ring-branded merchandise; and/or third-party branded merchandise (for example, co-branded items or products from our partners),
(together, the “Store Products”).
Additional terms (including shipping, returns and warranties) may apply at checkout and/or in a Store returns policy.
8.1 Orders & contract formation
Product listings are an invitation to treat, not an offer.
By completing checkout, you submit an offer to purchase.
A binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order (for example by email). We may reject orders at our discretion (e.g. stock issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud or export restrictions), subject to mandatory law.
8.2 Pricing & payment
Prices, taxes, shipping charges and any fees will be displayed at checkout.
We may correct obvious errors in pricing or product information at any time, including after an order is submitted, provided no mandatory consumer law is breached.
You must ensure your payment details are valid and that you are authorised to use them.
8.3 Delivery, risk & title
We will use reasonable efforts to dispatch within estimated timeframes but do not guarantee delivery dates.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to you (or your nominated address), unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
Title to Store Products usually passes on full payment.
8.4 Returns & refunds
Return/refund rights will be set out in the applicable store policy and/or mandatory consumer law.
8.5 Third-party merchandise
Some Store Products may be supplied, shipped and/or fulfilled by third parties (including via marketplace or fulfilment partners). In those cases, Ring may act as a marketing channel and/or facilitate the transaction, and the relevant third party may be the seller of record. Where a third party is the seller of record or fulfiller, this will be indicated at checkout or in the order flow (and the third party’s terms, policies, shipping practices, and warranty/returns processes may apply in addition to these Terms). Ring is not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party sellers/fulfillers beyond what is required under applicable law.
9. PRIZE DRAWS, COMPETITIONS, GIVEAWAYS & PROMOTIONS
From time to time we may run promotions, prize draws, competitions or giveaways (each a “Promotion”), including with third parties.
Each Promotion will be subject to its own rules/terms which apply in addition to these Terms.
If there is a conflict, the Promotion terms prevail for that Promotion.
Promotions may be region-restricted and/or age-restricted (e.g. 18+). You are responsible for ensuring participation is lawful where you are located.
We may cancel, suspend, amend or withdraw a Promotion where reasonably necessary (for example due to fraud, errors, legal/regulatory reasons or events beyond our control).
Nothing on the Services constitutes an offer or guarantee that you will be entitled to participate in any Promotion or receive any prize.
The Services may include a fantasy prediction competition / game provided in collaboration with a third-party provider. Participation is subject to any additional rules shown in-product and may be limited by one or more categories including (without limitation) age and/or location.
Where real-world prizes are offered, additional Promotion terms will apply (including eligibility, prize details, winner selection and fulfilment). Unless stated otherwise in the applicable Promotion terms, prizes are fulfilled by Ring or the relevant promotion sponsor.
10. BETTING CONTENT & THIRD-PARTY GAMBLING LINKS
10.1 Ring is not a betting operator
Ring:
does not provide, operate or manage any real-money gambling or betting services;
does not accept or process bets, stakes or wagers; and
does not provide financial, investment or gambling advice.
Betting Content is for information and entertainment only and does not constitute advice, a recommendation to place any bet, or a guarantee of any outcome.
10.2 Third-party betting operators
Some areas of the Services contain links, integrations, tools, promotional placements or references to third-party betting operators (“Betting Partners”). We may display a notice confirming that the Betting Partner’s terms and privacy policy apply.
By clicking any betting link or interacting with any betting-related integration, you acknowledge and agree that:
the Betting Partner is solely responsible for its services (including accounts, deposits, withdrawals, verification, compliance, responsible gambling and customer support);
Ring does not control, endorse or guarantee any odds, offers, promotions, outcomes or conduct of Betting Partners; and
your use of Betting Partner services is entirely at your own risk.
Ring accepts no responsibility or liability for losses, disputes, account issues, verification problems, payments, withdrawals, or gambling activity carried out with any Betting Partner.
10.3 Age restrictions
Betting Content and Betting Partner links are strictly for users aged 18+ (or higher legal age in your jurisdiction). You must not attempt to bypass age or location restrictions (including through false information or VPNs).
11. COMMUNITY FEATURES, COMMENTS & USER CONTENT
The Services may include interactive features such as comment sections, forums or community spaces (the “Community Features”).
Access and visibility
Community Features, and certain video content including any live-streaming may be available to Registered Users only and are not visible to non-logged-in visitors.
Private/direct messaging between users may not be supported.
Community Features are provided for entertainment and engagement purposes only and do not constitute voting in any official sporting, ranking or regulatory sense.
We may limit participation by age and/or location, restrict the number of entries, and apply other eligibility rules (for example, requiring you to be a Registered User).
We may suspend, reset, remove or amend Community Features (including results) where reasonably necessary (for example, to address suspected manipulation, technical issues or legal/compliance reasons).
You must not manipulate, interfere with, or use automated methods to participate in Community Features.
Where you use Community Features, certain account/profile information (such as your username, display name, avatar and any profile bio you choose to add) may be visible to other Registered Users within those features.
11.2 Your content (“User Content”)
“User Content” includes any text, comments, posts, images, audio, video, profiles, usernames, avatars or other material you upload, submit, share or display via the Services.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You must not submit User Content that contains confidential information belonging to you or any third party, or that you do not have the right to disclose. By submitting User Content, you confirm that:
you own it or have all necessary rights to use and share it;
it does not infringe third-party rights (including copyright, confidentiality, privacy or publicity rights); and
it complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
Community Features may allow you to post text and, where enabled, other media (such as images). The types of User Content permitted may change over time.
11.3 Licence you grant to Ring
By submitting User Content, you grant Ring a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, irrevocable licence to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform and publicly display your User Content for purposes connected with operating, promoting or enhancing the Services or Ring brand, in any media now known or later developed, without additional compensation.
To the extent permitted by law, you waive moral rights you may have in User Content as against Ring and its sublicensees.
You may delete certain User Content, but we may retain copies as reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, security or archival purposes.
11.4 Prohibited content and conduct
You must not upload or share User Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, invasive of privacy, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, incites violence/self-harm, misleading/impersonating, infringing, spam/scams, or contains malware.
11.5 Moderation and enforcement
We are not obligated to pre-screen all User Content. We may monitor and record activity where reasonably necessary.
We may use automated moderation tools (including blocklists/filters) and human review to identify, review, and remove content and to enforce these Terms. We may suspend or ban users, remove content, or restrict access to Community Features where we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these Terms or our community guidelines.
If you believe content on the Services breaches these Terms, our community standards or infringes your intellectual property or other rights, please contact us via the support form with sufficient detail to allow us to investigate (including the location/URL, a description of the breach or rights claimed, and your contact information). We may remove or restrict access to content where we reasonably consider it appropriate.
We may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe others’ rights or repeatedly breach these Terms (including our community standards), where we reasonably consider it appropriate.
12. RING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & PERMITTED USE
12.1 Our rights
Unless otherwise stated, Ring (or its licensors) owns all intellectual property rights in the Services and all content published through them, including articles, photographs, audio, video, graphics, logos, trade marks, designs, and the Ring Magazine Archive.
All rights are reserved.
12.2 Limited licence to you
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may print or download reasonable extracts for personal use provided you do not modify content, separate images from text, remove notices, and you acknowledge Ring and the Services as the source.
You must not reproduce, distribute or exploit substantial parts of the Services or content for commercial purposes without our written consent. You must not use bots/scrapers/crawlers to extract content except as permitted by public search engines in accordance with robots.txt or explicit permission.
If you breach these Terms, your right to use the Services ends immediately and you must, at our request, return or destroy copies you have made.
12.3 Archive and digital magazine use restrictions.
Access to the digital magazine viewer and archive is provided for your personal, non-commercial reading and viewing only. You must not (and must not attempt to): (a) copy, download, capture, scrape, bulk-extract, republish or redistribute archive or magazine content; (b) remove, obscure or bypass any access controls, viewer restrictions or technical protection measures; or (c) make the archive or magazine content available to others (including by re-uploading or sharing systematic extracts), except to the extent permitted herein and/or by mandatory law.
12.4 Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, feedback or recommendations to us about the Services (including via surveys, polls or support channels) (“Feedback”), you agree that we may use, disclose, reproduce, modify, adapt and otherwise exploit that Feedback for any purpose without restriction and without any payment or credit to you. Feedback is provided voluntarily and we have no obligation to implement it.
13. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, LINKS & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, embedded content, and content supplied by partners, advertisers, affiliates or other third parties.
We do not control third-party sites/content and your use is at your own risk and subject to the relevant third party’s terms and policies.
Some features of the Services are provided or supported by third-party platforms or providers (“Third-Party Services”). Where you interact with or use any Third-Party Service, you may be required to accept that provider’s own terms, policies and notices, which will apply in addition to these Terms.
Third-Party Services operate independently from Ring and may modify, suspend or discontinue their features, integrations or availability at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ring does not control and is not responsible for the performance, availability, security, accuracy or reliability of any Third-Party Services, or for any outages, interruptions, errors, changes or losses arising from their use.
Event pages may include links to third-party ticketing providers and/or third-party pay-per-view or streaming purchase journeys. Those third parties (not Ring) are responsible for their services, including availability, pricing, fulfilment, refunds, customer support and applicable terms and policies. Any contract you enter into for tickets or PPV is between you and the relevant third party.
Nothing in these Terms limits Ring’s liability where such limitation is not permitted by mandatory law.
14. ADVERTISING & SPONSORED CONTENT
We may display advertisements and sponsored content and may promote Ring or third-party products, events or services. Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for ensuring their material complies with applicable laws and regulations. We are not responsible for inaccuracy or illegality in third-party advertising except to the extent required by mandatory law.
15. PERMITTED & PROHIBITED USES
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
use the Services in any way that breaches law or regulation;
use the Services fraudulently or harmfully;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, servers or connected systems;
attack the Services via denial-of-service;
introduce malware;
bypass security/access controls (including age gating for Betting Content);
collect other users’ contact details without consent;
send spam; or
use automated systems to extract data without our prior written consent.
We may take appropriate action for any breach, including account suspension/termination, blocking access, removing content, and reporting to authorities.
16. SUSPENSION & TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services and/or your account where we reasonably believe you have breached (or are likely to breach) these Terms or applicable law, your behaviour is harmful, your account is compromised, we are required to do so by law/regulator, or we are making significant technical or commercial changes.
On termination:
your right to use the Services ceases immediately;
licences granted to you end; and
we may retain and use information about you as required/permitted by law.
Termination does not affect rights/obligations accrued up to the termination date.
17. RELIANCE ON INFORMATION & EDITORIAL CONTENT
The Services and content are provided “as is” and “as available” for general information and entertainment. We do not warrant that content is accurate, complete, up to date, or error-free, or that it is suitable for any particular purpose.
You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it and for any decisions you make based on content from the Services (including any bets, purchases or other actions).
Certain parts of the Services may display information such as fight records, schedules, rankings, statistics, “punch data”, bout details and other performance or event data. This information may be compiled from multiple sources and may be updated, corrected or withdrawn at any time. We do not guarantee that such information will be accurate, complete, up to date or available at all times. Such information may be provided by, or compiled from, third-party sources and may be subject to delay, error, omission or later correction.
Rankings and similar lists may reflect editorial judgment and may change from time to time. We do not guarantee that rankings will be maintained, updated on any particular schedule, or consistent with third-party rankings or official sanctioning body positions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on content.
18. SECURITY & VIRUSES
We do not guarantee the Services will be secure or free from bugs/viruses. You are responsible for configuring your devices and using appropriate security protection. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss/damage caused by viruses or denial-of-service attacks.
19. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UAE law.
Subject to the above: the Services are provided without warranties or conditions of any kind (express or implied) to the fullest extent permitted by law; and we exclude liability for loss of profits/revenue/business/goodwill/data, indirect or consequential loss, loss arising from use/inability to use the Services, loss arising from third-party sites/products (including Betting Partners), and loss relating to User Content or other users’ conduct.
Where you use paid services (e.g. a Subscription), our total aggregate liability to you will be limited to the amount you have paid to us for those paid services in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Where you use the Services free of charge, we will have no monetary liability to you, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute, claim or proceedings between you and Ring must be brought on an individual basis only and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, representative or multi-party action or proceeding. Class actions, private attorney-general actions, and consolidation of proceedings without Ring’s consent are expressly waived. Where such waiver is not permitted by mandatory law, the claim shall be interpreted and pursued only to the minimum extent required to comply with that law.
20. INDEMNITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Ring and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from and against claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
your use or misuse of the Services;
your User Content;
your breach of these Terms (including the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy) or applicable law;
infringement of third-party rights caused by you; or
your dealings with third parties (including other users, merchants, or betting operators).
We may assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate.
21. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
We use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy and agree that we may process personal data in accordance with it.
We may send you service/transactional communications where necessary to provide the Services (for example, account verification, purchase confirmations, password resets, or important service notices). Where we send marketing communications, we will do so in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, and you will be able to opt out using the method set out in the message or in your account settings (where available).
21.A COOKIES
We also use cookies and similar technologies when you access or use the Services. These are explained in our separate Cookie Policy. By continuing to browse or use the Services, you acknowledge that cookies may be placed on your device in accordance with that Cookie Policy, and you may manage your preferences at any time using the tools described within it.
22. CHANGES TO THE SERVICES
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time (for example, by adding or removing features, updating or removing content, or introducing or withdrawing Betting Content or third-party integrations), including as described in Section 5. We are under no obligation to keep any particular feature, content or integration available.
23. ENTIRE AGREEMENT, SEVERANCE & WAIVER
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and any additional terms referred to, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ring regarding your use of the Services.
If any provision is invalid/unlawful/unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remainder will remain in effect.
Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.
24. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory law that provides otherwise.
25. TRANSLATION
If these Terms are translated or made available in any language other than English, the English-language version will prevail and govern to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Any translated version is provided solely for convenience and does not modify the interpretation of the English-language version. Where applicable law does not allow the English-language version to prevail, the translated text will be interpreted so as to reflect, as closely as possible, the meaning and intent of the English-language version.
