The “Romford Bull,” one of Britain’s biggest domestic ticket-sellers, was roared on by more than 2,000 fans inside Copper Box Arena and cut his Belgian visitor twice above the left eye in a blood-soaked fight.

But Fisher (15-1, 12 KOs) was unable to mark the occasion and faced an anxious wait to hear the scorecards after 10.

Judge Kevin Parker had it even at 95-95, but Reece Carter (98-92) and Marcus McDonnell (96-95) both agreed the home favorite had done enough to win this Sky Sports main event, which was also broadcast on Paramount+ in the U.S.

A noisy bunch of around 30 Belgians added to a crackling atmosphere inside Copper Box Arena, in what was Fisher’s first appearance here since he was stopped in the fifth by Dave Allen in May 2025.

That fight had topped a Matchroom bill live on DAZN, but it was all change for Fisher this time around, as he boxed beneath the Zuffa Boxing banner for the first time after spending his entire career to date with Eddie Hearn.

Fisher got straight to work, putting Pirotton under pressure inside the first minute. The Belgian was doing well to tuck up and fired back with a right hook, left hand combination that found the target in an entertaining first round.

Pirotton started the second round well, finding a home for two crisp right hands within the first minute but Fisher handled them well and got back behind his jab before landing with two arcing right hands just before the bell.

One of them opened up the first cut over Pirotton’s left eye, which bled heavily throughout the third. Even so, the Belgian was still carrying a threat and came close to landing flush with a left hook.

But the 6-foot-4 Fisher was rolling under attacks beautifully before countering with shots of his own.

However, he was powerless to stop a sharp one-two from Pirotton early in the fourth, and he seemed to be feeling the early pace. But he got a breather when referee Kieran McCann invited the doctor to inspect Pirotton’s cut.

The fight was allowed to continue and Fisher got back to business with renewed vigor, landing a good left hook which Pirotton definitely felt. By now, both men were smeared in the Belgian’s blood and the work was getting ragged, which only added to the scrappy theater.

After such a fast start, Fisher’s feet had slowed and he was often caught standing in range by Pirotton’s long, accurate straight shots. But the home favorite ended the fifth by wobbling his visitor with another right hand.

A second cut on the same eye had been opened up by another legal punch on Pirotton but his corner team did a sterling job to stem the flow of blood. The doctor had another look at the wounds at the start of the seventh and again the fight was allowed to continue.

Despite his damaged eye, Pirotton ensured every minute of the fight was competitive and he was proving almost impossible for Fisher to nail clean. The Englishman continued to roll and weave beneath his opponent’s attacks but he was unable to put a dent in Pirotton in response.

But that changed with 45 seconds gone in the 10th and final round, as Fisher drilled him with a hard right hand, which buckled his legs. Pirotton found safety by getting close and an exhausted Fisher was unable to turn the screw.

Instead, it was up to the judges to confirm the result and get Fisher off to a winning start with Zuffa.
