Less than two months after they were first scheduled to fight, Carlos Adames and Austin "Ammo" Williams will finally meet.
Adames will look to make the third defense of his WBC middleweight world title when facing Williams on Saturday, headlining a Matchroom show at Caribe Royale in Orlando exclusively live on DAZN.
They were originally supposed to fight as part of The Ring 6 main card on January 31, before Adames was hospitalized 24 hours earlier due to weight-cut complications. Williams remained on the card, scoring a 10-round decision win over late-replacement Wendy Toussaint.
Adames (24-1-1, 18 KOs) will make his first appearance since his controversial split draw against Hamzah Sheeraz in February 2025, while challenger Williams (20-1, 13 KOs) enters their contest on a four-fight win streak.
