“I've got some big news that's going to be dropped very, very soon,” Fury said in a self-recorded video on social media.

“All is good in the hood – big fight on the horizon. It's the one you've all been waiting for. About to be announced imminently, stay tuned."

The development arrives nearly 48 hours after Zuffa Boxing and UFC frontman Dana White expressed his frustrations surrounding the ongoing saga of getting a deal finalized between the former heavyweight champions.

Fury and Joshua have been tracking toward a fight in November. The chief sticking point that remains is whether the "Battle of Britain" will take place in the United Kingdom or the United States.

Joshua's career-long promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing, said he signed off for the fight to take place in the UK, and a relocation would have to be renegotiated.

"Listen, this saga, we'll see how this whole thing plays out. I mean they either want to fight, or they don't. I don't know," White said on Saturday. "We did the television and venue deal."

"To make a fight, two guys have to want to fight – period, end of story. Contracts, and this and that – there's a lot of money for grabs in this fight. Do you want to fight? Or not? I don't give a s—t one way or the other. It's up to them … The fight should have happened 10 years ago. Is it going to happen now? We'll see."

On Monday's airing of WWE's Raw on Netflix, the streaming service ran an ad promoting the fight and labeled it as "coming soon."

Fury and Joshua ensured last month that their fight would move forward by scoring wins in their tune-up tests – a concept White was not in favor of.

Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) comfortably scored a technical knockout win against Mariusz Wach in seven rounds in Thailand.

Joshua (30-4, 26 KOs), meanwhile, nearly let the biggest fight of his career slip through his hands when he was dropped twice in the first round against Kristian Prenga, only to rebound and score a stoppage in the second.
