Jazza Dickens makes the first defense of his WBA junior lightweight world title against Anthony Cacace on Saturday at Dublin's 3Arena.
Dickens (36-5, 15 KOs) won the interim WBA title after beating the previously undefeated Albert Batyrgaziev by fourth-round knockout on July 2. The 34-year-old southpaw from Liverpool, England, was elevated to full titlist in December after Lamont Roach Jr. was stripped of the belt.
Cacace (24-1, 9 KOs), of Belfast, Northern Ireland, previously held the IBF title after his eighth-round stoppage of Joe Cordina in May 2024. He successfully defended once, defeating Josh Warrington by unanimous decision, before vacating in January 2025 to pursue bigger fights. He beat Leigh Wood by ninth-round stoppage last May.
Cacace, 37, enters this contest on a nine-fight winning streak.
