Caleb Plant, maybe more than most, loves watching a good fight. So, with Sebastian Fundora and Chordale Booker recently getting it on in his neighborhood, the Las Vegas resident showed up with his popcorn ready.

Fundora (22-1-1, 14 KOs) made it look easy, defending his WBC and WBO junior middleweight titles via fourth-round stoppage. Once things were officially waived off by referee Thomas Taylor, Plant shook his head in disbelief. Just before he made his way out of the arena to enjoy his night, he broke down what Booker did wrong and why he was unable to make things even remotely competitive.

“Chordale was doing a lot to Sebastian’s little,” said Plant to FightHype.com. “Sebastian was running him hot, he couldn’t find a way to slow the pace down or stand his ground.”

Booker, who seemingly found his groove amid a six-fight win streak, was in over his head once Fundora got cooking. His lopsided stoppage defeat, however, has nothing to do with whether or not he can compete at the highest level. From Plant’s point of view, Fundora is somewhat a freak of nature.

At 6’6” the junior middleweight makes certain heavyweights look small in comparison. Height aside, Fundora doesn’t fight like your typical scrawny boxer. By and large, the unified champ can do a little bit of everything, something that surprises Plant. Considering that he can torch his opponents from just about everywhere, Plant scratches his head when attempting to name someone in his weight class that he would be willing to favor over the unified star.

“It’s tough because a lot of tall skinny guys, they’re a little too gangly for the inside but with Sebastian, he can still throw short, tight punches on the inside," continued Plant. "He can box on the outside. It’s a hard style to beat.”
