Conor Benn did exactly as he promised, avenging his career-first professional defeat, and did so without much difficulty against an underwhelming Chris Eubank Jr performance.
Seven months after their initial meeting, Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn headlined Tottenham Hotspur Stadium once more with a markedly different outcome than their thrilling April firefight.
Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) began sharp and outlanded the older man across all 12 rounds, connecting on more body punches (70) than Eubank managed total (68) per the CompuBox numbers, as the 29-year-old avenged defeat and floored him twice in the final frame.
119-107, 116-110 and 118-108 read the three scorecards on an evening where Benn's adjustments paid dividends while Eubank (35-4, 25 KOs) must now ask difficult questions of his fighting future after being far less active and firmly second best from minute one.
