Conor Benn will be in attendance at The Ring's Times Square show in New York City on Friday, May 2 - and he's keeping a close eye on the main event.
Benn (23-1, 14 KOs) is just four days removed from his epic, 12-round war with cross-generational rival Chris Eubank Jr (35-3, 25 KOs) at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what was Ring Magazine's first ever boxing event.
'The Destroyer', whose father Nigel fought Euabnk Jr's dad Chris Sr twice in the 1990s, ultimately came out on the wrong side of the decision, losing 116-112 on all three scorecards after 36 minutes of brutal, back-and-forth action.
Over 65,000 fans packed out Spurs Stadium to watch the latest chapter in the Eubank-Benn saga unfold, and they weren't left disappointed.
Benn, who fought at middleweight last Saturday night, talked up a rematch with Eubank Jr in the post-fight press conference, but the option to go back to welterweight to challenge WBC 147-pound champion Mario Barrios is also on the table.
The Ilford man, however, has added another name to that list in Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs), who faces Rolando Romero in the main event on Friday night live on DAZN PPV.
Garcia said during a fight week media scrum: "That's a huge fight, I'm down for [Benn] to come over here and we could throw down. He had a great performance even though he lost. I see a lot of holes in his game that Chris didn't take advantage of.
"At the end of the day, they're both warriors and they gave a hell of a show, that's one of the best fights I've seen of all time. That was crazy."
Benn replied on X: "I'll be ringside to watch you get the job done [Friday] then god willing we get it on later this year and pack a stadium out."
Following Eubank Jr and Benn's war, the former spent two days in hospital after suffering with severe dehydration, while Benn also headed there to seek precautionary medical attention.
The pair were just two beds down from each other but didn't speak or exchange pleasantries following their British boxing classic.
By Monday, Benn was back in the gym, and later today, he's set to fly out to New York City for Friday's show.
