TNT Sports and DAZN have revealed the broadcast team for "The Fight," a new monthly boxing series dually distributed by the cable network and sports streaming service.
Studio coverage will be anchored by TNT Sports veteran broadcaster Adam Lefkoe, while retired former world champions Terence Crawford, Tim Bradley Jr. and Shawn Porter will serve as analysts.
“Mama, I told you I got a job; TBC on TNT, work time,” Crawford quipped on social media. Porter said they’ve assembled “the bomb squad of boxing,” while Bradley added, “Let’s get to work.”
The broadcast booth will be manned by DAZN's traditional team of blow-by-blow commentator Todd Grisham and former world champion-turned-analyst Sergio Mora, with reporter Chris Mannix contributing as ringside and in-ring reporter, studio analyst and co-commentator.
The maiden voyage of "The Fight" is set for July 4, as WBO lightweight champion Abdullah Mason defends his title against Albert Bell at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland.
The event will air on both TNT and truTV in the United States and will be available to stream for DAZN subscribers beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
The second installment of "The Fight" is set for August 1 at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, as Lamont Roach Jr. and William Zepeda square off for the vacant WBC lightweight title.
The partnership between DAZN and Warner Bros. Discovery is a boon for boxing because the sport is once again more accessible to fans across the United States.
ESPN is the only other American cable channel that presents boxing across its airwaves, courtesy of a deal it announced with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions in March to primarily showcase women’s boxing.
