Fundora dominated Keith Thurman in a one-sided fight for a sixth-round stoppage win last weekend to defend his WBC junior middleweight title.

Crawford took to social media this week to answer a series of questions, and a hot-button topic was getting his thoughts on "The Towering Inferno" Fundora.

When Crawford was asked who the best 154-pound fighter in the world was, he said it was Fundora and went on to pick him to beat Jaron Ennis if they ever faced each other.

“Right now, no [I don’t see anybody beating Fundora at 154,]” said Crawford. "Only time will tell.”

Crawford, a former junior middleweight titleholder, also said he was open to fighting Fundora in recent years, but the bout never came to be.

"I was trying to fight him, but they said I wasn’t a big enough star," said Crawford. "Because I’m scary, remember."

Crawford only fought once at 154 and beat Israil Madrimov by unanimous decision in August 2024 for the WBA title.

In September, Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) stepped up to super middleweight and beat Canelo Alvarez for the undisputed title and became a five-division champion before retiring in December.

Crawford has been in a back-and-forth feud with Ryan Garcia in recent days, but reiterated that he's a retired fighter and wouldn't consider a lucrative offer to make a comeback against Garcia, Alvarez, Floyd Mayweather, or anyone else, for that matter.

"I'm going to say this and leave it alone because to some of y'all it doesn’t matter what I do, y'all just hate,” said Crawford. “When I was fighting, nobody was f****** with me. There is a reason why I was blackballed, and still came out on top. Real m************ know, and the ones that didn’t, they found out.”
