Anthony Joshua got his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk. So did Tyson Fury, albeit, both of them unsuccessfully. Daniel Dubois wants to get his second shot at fighting the Ukrainian, too.

Daniel Dubois wants to get his second shot at fighting the Ukrainian, too.
Dubois crashed Usyk’s post-fight victory speech in the ring Saturday night in Saudi Arabia following Usyk’s unanimous decision win against Tyson Fury.
“Usyk, I want my revenge,” said Dubois. “Well done tonight. God bless. I want my revenge for the robbery last time. Let’s get it. Let’s go. Where’s [promoter] Frank [Warren]? Make it happen.”
The Ring Magazine, WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO champion Usyk obliged to the request of the IBF belt holder and told Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, to make it happen.
“Your Excellency, make me a fight with Daniel Dubois. Thank you so much,” said Usyk. “Yeah, no problem. I’m ready. Next fight, no problem,” he said. “Now I’m going back home for a little bit of rest, but I’m ready.”
Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) detonated “Dynamite” Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) last year with a one-punch, ninth-round knockout after knocking him down in the eighth. The fight was surrounded by controversy, however. In the fifth round, Dubois dropped and appeared to knock out Usyk with a shot that landed directly at the waistline but the punch was ruled a low blow and the fight continued.
Dubois – the No. 2-ranked heavyweight by Ring Magazine – has bounced back remarkably since the Usyk loss, stopping Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, and Anthony Joshua in a nine-month stretch.
His fifth-round demolition of Joshua was for the IBF title Usyk vacated to face Fury in the rematch instead of moving forward with Dubois, his mandatory challenger after beating Hrgovic.
Should Usyk and Dubois fight again, it would be for the undisputed heavyweight title, an honor Usyk already accomplished when he first beat Fury in May.
