Like Hrgovic, Dubois got out of the deep end in his brutal battle against Wardley in May, surviving knockdowns in the first and third rounds before reviving himself soon after and banking one round after another in a bludgeoning 11th-round stoppage victory.

The sequel between Dubois (23-3, 22 KOs) and Wardley (20-1-1, 19 KOs) will be staged at London's O2 Arena on DAZN PPV, and a press conference is scheduled for Wednesday at Glaziers Hall to begin the promotional tour for the pitting.

Dubois got the festivities underway over the weekend in fiery fashion with a heated face-off, balling his fists before walking straight to Wardley's chest and saying, "Give me some of that face-to-face s—t, boy."

Dubois then went on to say that he's expecting a furious fight against Wardley.

"Of course I'm looking for another dominant victory and amazing performance. I can't wait — let's get it on," Dubois said. "It's just going to be a war. When you get in the water, you're going to get wet. So, yeah, I love every bit of it. I can't wait for it."

The only reason the sequel is in store is that Wardley opted into his rematch clause.

"It didn't take long at all to trigger the rematch," Wardley said. "The O2 Arena is like a home away from home for me. Doing the fight back here will be special. I'm just looking forward to getting straight back into it. It's going to be a rematch — and it's going to be revenge.

"We came into that fight with all of the confidence in the world, but adjustments need to be made. I've proven time and time again, like in my fights against Frazer Clarke, and my performances against Justis Huni and Joseph Parker. I've proven I'm adaptable, and I can change, and that's what we need to do for this fight."
