“Keep my belts warm for right now,” Ennis told several reporters recently, referring to his fellow 154-pound titleholders. “I will be coming to collect them very soon.”

Ennis became a unified champion in a second division when he stoppled then-WBA and WBO belt holder Xander Zayas in seven rounds on June 27. Now, he's two wins from becoming an undisputed champion.

That's why he has turned his attention to Kelly and Fundora, who hold the IBF and WBC titles, respectively. And it appears that both fun aren't afraid of Ennis, who is No. 9 on The Ring pound-for-pound list. Kelly (19-1-1, 9 KOs) said immediately after he successfully defended his title by outpointing Caoimhin Agyarko in a tough fight on July 25 that he wants to meet Ennis next.

Fundora (24-1-1, 16 KOs) has also said he wants a piece of Ennis, although he’s scheduled to return to the ring on October 17 against mandatory challenger Ermal Hadribeaj.

Of course, that's exactly what Ennis (36-0, 32 KOs, 1 NC) wants to hear. But which opponent does he prefer? Doesn't matter. He simply wants to add titles to his collection.

“Whoever’s willing to step in the ring with me and take that risk,” Ennis said when asked which champion he wants to fight first. “That belt will be coming back to Philadelphia with me.”
