Then stateside, Alycia Baumgardner seeks another defense of her unified junior lightweight world titles against former Caroline Dubois foe Bo Mi Re Shin atop MVPW-02, where Shadasia Green seeks to rubberstamp herself an opportunity against multi-weight world champion Claressa Shields by beating her former opponent in the co-main.

Callum Smith's injury sees light heavyweight talent Ben Whittaker (10-0-1, 7 KOs) elevated into Matchroom's main event slot Saturday night in Liverpool against Argentina's Braian Suarez (21-4, 20 KOs) and while that matchup appears another favorable one on paper, Copp fancies youth in the women's world title bout a few hours later when Esneidy Rodriguez (12-0-1, 1 KO) faces Eri Matsuda (8-2-1, 1 KO) for the WBA atomweight strap.
