The war of words between O’Shaquie Foster and Shakur Stevenson is escalating.
Foster continues to take aim at Stevenson after their heated confrontation following the former's victory over Raymond Ford on Saturday. In an interview with The Ring’s Louis Hart, he said he’s teaching Stevenson how to stand on his word as he continues to seek a fight with him.
“He’s like an emotional female,” Foster said. “Nobody really taught him how to be a ma, so I'm trying to teach him now by showing him how to stand on your word and go straight to the smoke. No rehydration clauses like he’s trying to throw out there with [Devin] Haney, none of that. I don't need none of that. We could be a real man, make weight, and we fight.”
The rivalry between Foster (25-3, 12 KOs) and Stevenson (25-0, 11 KOs) reached its peak after Foster retained his WBC 130-pound title against Ford. Foster and Stevenson exchanged words after the decision was announced, and the latter walked into the ring.
They went face-to-face and continued to share unpleasantries before being separated by security. Stevenson was in attendance to support Ford (18-2-1, 8 KOs).
