Fully intent on asserting himself back into a stacked heavyweight division, Hughie Fury has signed his latest promotional deal with GBM Sports.

Though Fury (29-3, 16 KOs) fought three times in 2024, his bouts were all against severely under-matched opposition in Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko (10-16-1, 7 KOs), Patrick Korte (22-4-1, 18 KOs) and Christian Thun (9-2, 7 KOs).

Having previously fought for a world title back in September 2017 against Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs), Fury has struggled to get back into the mix since, losing to both Kubrat Pulev (32-3, 14 KOs) and Alexander Povetkin since.

Under Izzy Asif's GBM Sports Banner, however, Fury is seemingly hell-bent on challenging for world honours again.

“I’ve enjoyed working with GBM and I am excited to be signing this multi-fight deal,” he said in a press release.

“I’ve been constantly in the gym and I’m coming for all these so-called top heavyweights soon.

“They can’t avoid me much longer and I’m going to spoil their day in the sun. I’m going to be busy this year and whoever wants it can have it. Call my team – I will be there!”

Fury's next fight will take place at York Hall in London on April 4th, with an opponent yet to be confirmed. It's also expected that the 30-year-old will be back out in May too.

Some of Fury's most notable wins have come against the likes of Mariusz Wach, Samuel Peter and Christian Hammer.

In 2022, Fury was scheduled to fight Michael Hunter (24-1-2, 17 KOs) on two occasions, but both times the bout had to be called off due to issues with Long-COVID he had at the time.
