Fast-rising super middleweight contender Jacob Bank seeks to build on the momentum he gained by stopping former world champion William Scull, with Paulinus Ndjolonimu next on April 25.
The two will collide in a WBC title eliminator in an event dubbed, "Welcome to Valhalla" and broadcast live on DAZN as Bank (18-0, 10 KOs) makes his third consecutive appearance at the Sydbank Arena in Danish city Kolding.
Bank, The Ring's No. 9-rated super middleweight, turned professional in September 2020. He worked his way up at home in Denmark while claiming various WBO regional titles along the way.
The 25-year-old holds wins over previously-unbeaten trio Ralfs Vilcans (UD 10), Ibo Maier (RTD 4), Damian Biacho (UD 10).
He stopped veteran Tyron Zeuge (TKO 5) but really caught the eye in the manner he picked apart former IBF beltholder Scull on January 31, stopping him in the final round of their January 31 meeting.
Meanwhile, Ndjolonimu (20-1, 18 KOs) has been a professional since 2015. The Namibian fought exclusively at home, winning his first 19 fights.
The 38-year-old suffered a 10-round majority decision defeat away in Germany against unbeaten Simon Zachenhuber last July but rebounded with a 10th-round stoppage win over Snamiso Ntuli back home in Namibia, paving the way for this opportunity.
Bank's stablemates Constantino Nanga (14-0, 10 KOs), Maher Khatib (4-1, 1 KO) and Melissa Mortensen (9-0, 5 KOs) are scheduled to appear on the undercard against opponents to be announced.
