British heavyweight Johnny Fisher has been offered the chance to face undefeated Emanuel Odiase in Germany this summer.

The 27-year-old Fisher (14-1, 12 KOs) is yet to box this year following his fourth-round stoppage victory over Ivan Balaz in Monaco on December 6.

The Romford Bull had agreed terms to challenge Jeamie TKV but the British heavyweight champion opted to put his belt on the line against Richard Riakporhe on April 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium instead.

Fisher has now been handed the chance to go on a second successive European road trip by 6ft 8in Odiase (10-0, 8 KOs). The Ring understands promoters Ringside Zone have made Fisher a six-figure offer to face Odiase on May 15 in Mannheim, Germany.

Odiase, who is aligned with Anthony Joshua’s 258 MGT company, is yet to put a foot wrong as a professional and scored a shut-out victory over notoriously tough Ukrainian journeyman Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko last weekend.

Before that, he took out local heavyweight Idris Afinni in just 105 seconds of their clash at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos in October.

That fight had been scheduled for eight but Odiase has had one 10-rounder so far in his career, which he ended in the sixth round against Srdan Govedarica (13-11, 11 KOs).

The Heidelberg-born puncher, 27, is now looking for a clear step-up fight and Fisher would represent only the fourth opponent of his career with a winning record.

Fisher has been spending time on holiday in Australia with his family but is now plotting a return to the ring in early summer. Should he accept the offer to face Odiase, he would have seven weeks to prepare.
