Keyshawn Davis-Nahir Albright rematch kicks off Top Rank-DAZN partnership

Keyshawn Davis will meet Nahir Albright in a junior welterweight rematch on May 16 in his native Virginia, sources tell The Ring.
When they fought in October 2023 at lightweight, Davis scored a majority decision over 10 rounds. That win was later overturned to a no-contest when Davis failed a test for marijuana due to Texas rules.
The rematch carries bad blood following last year’s ugly incident in Davis’ hometown of Norfolk. Davis was set to headline in a homecoming title defense against Edwin De Los Santos before he missed weight.
On that same card, Albright defeated Davis’ older brother, Kelvin, via majority decision.
In the locker room afterward, the Davis brothers engaged in a physical altercation where they allegedly attacked Albright.
Albright fought for the first time since the incident in February with a draw against Frank Martin in a career-best performance.
Davis (14-0, 10 KOs) returned to the ring in January and stopped Jamaine Ortiz in the 12th round.
Davis, 27, is rated No. 3 by The Ring at 140 pounds. He’s an Olympic silver medalist and former lightweight titleholder.
Philadelphia’s Albright (17-2-1, 7 KOs) is 30.
The event will headline Top Rank's first show on DAZN.
