Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced another exhibition on Monday, this one against Mike Zambidis on June 27 at Telekom Center in Athens, Greece.
At 49, Mayweather is making a full-fledged fighting comeback and plans to have an incredibly active year.
Last week, it was announced that Mayweather will return to the ring to face Manny Pacquiao in a rematch on September 19 at Sphere in Las Vegas. Pacquiao said Mayweather wanted the meeting to be an exhibition, but it will be a professional bout instead.
Mayweather is also supposed to take on Mike Tyson in an exhibition in the Congo on April 25.
“2026 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for me,” Mayweather said on social media following the announcement of the Zambidis event. “Europe, I’m on the way to entertain. This summer will be a legendary battle. June is the month where history will be made. Different energy, different levels.”
Mayweather-Zambidis will be presented by Front Row Fight Series.
Mayweather has engaged in several high-profile exhibitions since knocking out Conor McGregor in his last pro fight in 2017. He retired 50-0, but now has the itch to take on all comers, while various reports suggest he's in financial trouble.
"Iron Mike" Zambidis is a 45-year-old Greek kickboxer and martial artist. The fight poster announcing the event stated he has 180 fights, 158 wins, including 87 KOs.
