Michael B. Jordan has promised another installment of the Creed film franchise.
“I think there’s definitely going to be Creed IV for sure,” Jordan said during the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Creed is an offshoot of the Rocky franchise and has proved to be a blockbuster success with releases in 2015, 2018 and 2023, generating over $664 million at the global box office.
Adonis "Donnie" Creed is the fictional character played by Jordan. Adonis is the illegitimate son of Apollo Creed, who was portrayed by Carl Weathers in the Rocky series.
Jordan is an Oscar-nominated actor known for his roles in "Sinners," “Black Panther,” and “Fruitvale Station,” among others.
Jordan also served as the director of "Creed III."
“I always had an idea of what I wanted to do to elevate it,” said Jordan. “I kind of understood the things Adonis was going through and the frustrations. The trauma that comes along with it and the guilt of being successful, that survivor’s remorse, that is a real thing.”
