"Tyson," a new four-part docuseries chronicling Tyson's rise, fall, and enduring place as a global icon, debuts October 13, a trailer revealed on Thursday.

“I lived like a rat on the street all my life,” Tyson says in the trailer. “Next thing you know, I’m the biggest s--- in the world.

"I was a nut back then, huh? It's hard to navigate your true self when you really don't know who the f--- you are.

“This is the dark side of me. That’s just who I became – addicted to chaos."

One scene shows Tyson wiping a tear and wondering, “Why did I put myself through this bulls---?"

In a parallel announcement, Netflix will also premiere Tyson's latest one-man show, “Mike Tyson: Return of the Mike," on November 3.

“It’s Tyson like you’ve never seen him: unguarded, unpredictable, and genuinely hilarious – proof that the baddest man on the planet might also be one of the funniest,” the show's official logline reads.

The one-man show was filmed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and is directed by Tyson's wife, Lakiha “Kiki” Spicer.

“Having an opportunity to share my story through the reflective lens of my growth and maturity … will be a challenging journey, yet a very [welcome] one,” Tyson said in a separate interview with Netflix regarding the docuseries.

“Most people are too scared to look at their lives objectively, wanting to paint themselves as the hero of their own story. But if we are truly objective, we know we can never be the hero in our own story. We have to be able to face the man in the mirror – taking the good with the bad – to give a full account of our contributions in this life.”

The docuseries is directed by Floyd Russ and produced by Jenna Millman, Jacob Miller, and Alexa Ginsburg. Executive producers include Jim Gray, Ian Orefice, Amanda Spain, Jonna McLaughlin, Greg C. Lake, Michael Hughes, Douglas Banker, Floyd Russ, and Bill Simmons.
