Last week we had Anthony Joshua and now, his December 11 foe Tyson Fury joins the Mr. Verzace Podcast.
Both are former two-time heavyweight champions deep into their 30s and despite showing physical vulnerabilities in their recent fights, this British collision course remains appointment viewing.
Fury ended his latest retirement before scoring wins over Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach, stressing the importance of activity.
"The Gypsy King" gets a third fight in eight months as the world will be fixed on Cardiff's Principality Stadium when the two headline a Ring show for the WBA "super" world title live on Netflix.
Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) is already back training in his Miami base, but during their inaugural media week gearing up to their winter showdown opted for a seat next to The Ring's Rick Reeno.
Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) provided a good watch last week and on the eve of tickets being released this Friday, why not treat yourself to one of boxing's must-see attractions? Here, he's in fine form discussing many topics.
Among those explored include:
- His view on what's transpired over the past few weeks
- After all this time, did he believe the Joshua fight was cursed?
- Thoughts on Eddie Hearn and Dana White
- Assessing Joshua's come-from-behind win over Kristian Prenga and his Usyk friendship
- The importance of his fight for his legacy and whether he respects 'AJ'
- His prediction for December 11 ... what happens, how and why
- Provided he beats Joshua, there's one fight he wants more than any in 2027
Their full sit-down interview is now available to watch and stream across all platforms. Enjoy the episode and let us know what you think! 🥊💥
