Will Fabio Wardley exact his revenge? Or will Daniel Dubois notch a second victory over Wardley?
We’ll get the answer when Dubois (23-3, 22 KOs) makes the first defense of his WBO heavyweight title in a rematch against Wardley (20-1-1, 19 KOs) at O2 Arena in London on Saturday. The 12-round heavyweight clash will stream on DAZN PPV.
Dubois, The Ring’s No. 2-ranked heavyweight, beat Wardley, 31, by 11th-round stoppage on May 9 at the same venue where their rematch will take place.
Wardley, The Ring’s No. 5-rated heavyweight, notched knockdowns in the first and third rounds, but Dubois overcame them to batter the former champion before referee Howard Foster mercifully stopped the fight.
The win made Dubois, 29, a two-time heavyweight champion.
