Stevie McKenna has secured some much-needed motion for his career.
McKenna (15-1, 14 KOs) has signed a long-term promotional contract with Zuffa Boxing and will return June 6 to take on Casey James Streeter (15-3-2, 6 KOs), it was announced on Friday.
The eight-round middleweight matchup will be featured on the Zuffa Boxing 07 show, headlined by the cruiserweight clash between Chris Billam-Smith and Ryan Rozicki, in Bournemouth, England.
“The Hitman” McKenna, a 29-year-old from Monaghan, Ireland, hasn’t fought since suffering the lone loss of his career, a 10-round majority decision to Lee Cutler in December 2024.
McKenna turned pro in 2019 and has fought exclusively in the UK after kicking off his career with four fights in California under Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach. Eleven of McKenna’s 14 knockouts have come in three rounds or less.
McKenna is looking to gain momentum in his career, much like his younger brother Aaron McKenna (20-0, 10 KOs), who last year scored a career-best unanimous decision win against Liam Smith.
Streeter (15-3-2, 6 KOs) last fought on Zuffa Boxing 03 in February and was stopped by Leo Ruiz in four rounds.
