In the September 2026 issue of The Ring, we look ahead to the WBC super middleweight title fight between champion Christian Mbilli and challenger Canelo Alvarez, which takes place October 31 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Alvarez, who will be making his first appearance since losing the undisputed championship to Terence Crawford last year, spoke to The Ring about his legendary career and plans for the future.
The unbeaten Mbilli is the defending champion but very much the B-side in what will be the biggest fight of his career. In an exclusive interview, the Cameroon-born Frenchman offers insight into the obstacles he overcame to reach this point.
