Eleven fights have lasted a total of 13 rounds so far for Teremoana (11-0, 11 KOs).

The next rival, DeAndre Savage (11-1, 11 KOs), arrives from America, and they'll meet Wednesday at Australia's Star Casino Gold Coast to headline a Matchroom Boxing card on DAZN.

The 28-year-old Australian Olympian is tired of toying with opponents, and he's hoping for a stiff test from Savage, who's scored a knockout in each of his wins, too.

"I'm looking forward to this challenge that DeAndre is going to bring because I know he's a knockout artist like myself. Whatever he brings, I'm going to be ready for it," Teremoana said during a press conference.

"From what I've seen, he's a durable fighter. He can definitely go the rounds. I really like the way he fights, actually, and the way he carries himself in the later rounds. But from what I saw when he lost to Brendan Moore [via 10-round unanimous decision in September 2025], he doesn't have the fitness to be able to go the rounds with me. I expect his only chance is to knock me out, so he might as well try to do it earlier.

"I don't actually have too much experience in the actual ring, but I obviously do it all in the training, and I prepare well beforehand. So, yeah, I really hope that Savage can bring some more out of me so that I can showcase a little bit more of my talent. Because everyone thinks I'm a knockout artist, but I'm actually not. It just seems that my punches have been finding their target. In the heavyweight division, everyone can punch hard."

Promoter Eddie Hearn has been touting Teremoana as the future of the heavyweight division. Hearn has also stressed that it's been difficult to find the 6-foot-6, 275-pound fighter the proper dance partners.

"I'll take care of whoever gets put in front of me," Teremoana said. "I'm very grateful to be able to have my first headliner. I've earned my way here, and I've obviously backed it up with everyone who's stepped in the ring.

"Every win is a step forward, and I'm very glad that DeAndre is taking the step forward to take the challenge. Every dog has their day, but I prepared well for this. I'm purely focused on August 12, and hopefully we can get the Australian title after that."

Teremoana also has his eyes set for a clash against countryman Justis Huni (13-1, 7 KOs) to settle the score for Australian heavyweight supremacy.

"We've never had a heavyweight fighter like myself in Australia, ever. I'm one of a kind. I'm the first of my kind as well," Teremoana said. "Australian boxing is on the rise, and I'm just so glad to be a part of it."
