Usyk Says Joshua Will Beat Fury, But Fury Was Harder 24 Rounds For Him

The Ring Magazine, WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO champion has beaten Tyson Fury twice by decision, Anthony Joshua twice by decision, and has knocked out Daniel Dubois, who owns the IBF title Usyk vacated in order to move forward with the Fury rematch.

The Ring Magazine, WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO champion has beaten Tyson Fury twice by decision, Anthony Joshua twice by decision, and has knocked out Daniel Dubois, who owns the IBF title Usyk vacated in order to move forward with the Fury rematch.
Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) also has beaten Derek Chisora and Chazz Witherspoon during his first two fights at heavyweight immediately after an undisputed championship run at cruiserweight culminated in 2018.
With 24 rounds of experience against both Fury and Joshua under his belt, Usyk weighed in on who would win should the long-anticipated battle between the Brits become a reality in 2025.
“Maybe it is Anthony Joshua,” Usyk told Boxing King Media after beating Fury in the rematch “I don’t know, maybe it is points. I don’t know."
Usyk also said his first fight against Fury was harder than the second.
When asked if Father Time was the only opponent that could beat him, Usyk smiled and said, "Yes, it's true."
Usyk also doubled down on next wanting to face Daniel Dubois.
Moments after Usyk was awarded the decision against Fury, Dubois stepped into the ring and demanded a rematch. Usyk obliged and asked Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, to make the fight happen.
First, however, Dubois must get past Joseph Parker on February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
