MONTREAL - Dzmitry Asanau and Francesco Patera both comfortably made lightweight this afternoon at the Montreal Casino, Montreal, ahead of tomorrow's main event. Asanau tipped the scales at 134.6, while his opponent Patera came in at 134.1.

ESPN+ will broadcast the Eye of The Tiger promotions beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET/ 3:30 p.m. PT and punchinggrace will show the card in Canada.
Asanau (9-0, 4 KOs) was a standout amateur, who represented his homeland of Belarus at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics. He made his debut in Germany in 2022, where his first seven fights took place.
After moving operations to Canada, the 28-year-old has stepped up his game and is coming off a win over former world title challenger Matias Rueda (TKO 5).
Patera (30-5, 11 KOs) has been a professional since 2012. The Belgium-born fighter worked his way up and took a couple of loses before winning and losing the European title to Edis Tatli (SD 12/ L UD 12) in Finland.
The 31-year-old southpaw regained the EBU belt when he upset streaking Lewis Ritson (UD 12). He notched three defenses before Covid bit and forced him to sit out 18-months. After returning with five wins, Patera was beaten by future WBO lightweight titlist Keyshawn Davis (UD 10). Since then, Patera has gone 2-1, losing to Gary Cully (UD 10).
Meanwhile, in chief support, Mary Spencer (9-2, 6 KOs) tipped the scales at 153.8 ahead of his WBA junior middleweight title defense against Ogleidis Suarez (31-5-1, 15 KOs) came in at 153.

Alexandre Gaumont (12-0, 8 KOs), Gatineau, Canada, 159.7 pounds vs. Mathis Lourenco (13-5-3, 6 KOs), Marseille, France, 156 pounds - 8 rounds, middleweight - 8 rounds, middleweight
Jhon Orobio (12-0, 11 KOs), Montreal, via Colombia, 138.5 pounds vs. Sebastian Ezequiel Aguirre (19-6, 12 KOs), Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina, 139.3 pounds - 8 rounds, junior welterweight
Erik Israyelyan, Montreal, via Yerevan, Armenia, 131.8 pounds vs. Richard Bernath (0-1), Debrecen, Hungary, 127.6 pounds - 4 rounds, junior lightweight
Asanau-Patera, plus undercard bouts, will be broadcast on ESPN+ at 6:30 p.m. ET/ 3:30 p.m. PT
