The 147-pound champions include Teofimo Lopez (WBA), Devin Haney (WBO), Paro (IBF) and Garcia (WBC), who defends his title for the first time on Saturday against Conor Benn at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Paramount+ in the US and DAZN in the UK and Ireland.  

Garcia envisions blasting Benn, unifying titles against Lopez and then facing Haney for the undisputed crown, assuming his ival takes care of business against Paro sometime in between. 

"The road to being the undisputed welterweight champion is knocking out Teofimo and then setting up an undisputed title fight against Devin," Garcia said.

"I don't know where Devin goes [for now]. Nothing is exciting for Devin unless he's fighting Teofimo or me. Devin needs to stay busy. I would stay busy if I were him. 

"Devin is not going to lose to Paro, but I don't think Paro wants to fight Haney. He wants to fight Teofimo. He feels like he has a better chance to beat Teofimo. Paro is just borrowing and renting that belt for right now, because any of us are going to take that s***. I'm just being real with you."

Paro caught wind of Garcia's remarks and fired back on social media. 

"Ryan Garcia is running his mouth about me being easy work is rich coming from a man who got pumped by Rolly Romero," Paro said. "If I’m so easy, let’s unify next! Come get it, b****." 

Garcia said he'd prefer to face Lopez on Cinco De Mayo Weekend in 2027. 

"That would be fire," Garcia said. "I would have loved to fight Teofimo in December or January, but it's going to be hard to pull off because that's just a super quick turnaround.

"Teofimo's win against Rolando Romero wasn't anything impressive. He got the win, and that's good. Welcome to the division. We're all here waiting for you. I can't wait to fight him."
