Garcia, of Victorville, California, will make his first defense of the WBC 147-pound championship against England’s Benn in their 12-round bout. Garcia (25-2, 20 KOs, 1 NC) won the title thanks to a dominant unanimous decision over Mario Barrios on February 21 at T-Mobile Arena.

Benn (25-1, 14 KOs) will fight at the welterweight limit of 147 pounds for the first time since April 2022. He fought at a 150-pound catch weight in his last fight, a one-sided decision victory over two-time 140-pound world champion Regis Prograis in a 10-round bout on April 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Garcia-Benn and part of an undercard to be announced will be streamed on Paramount+ in the United States and on DAZN in the UK and Ireland.
