Iglesias (15-0, 14 KOs), The Ring's No. 2 super middleweight and IBF's No. 5-rated contender Zaren (19-0-1, 8 KOs) will headline at Capitole de Quebec in Quebec City, Canada.

The Cuban champion impressively acquired the vacant IBF title last time out when he bludgeoned Pavel Silyagin into retirement after eight rounds on April 9.

Meanwhile, Zaren is coming off a third-round technical draw when his fight with Jose Luis Navarro Jr. was curtailed due to a thunderstorm in Madrid, Spain on June 19.

“This fight is a dream come true for me, a dream I have cherished since childhood, and one that will ultimately come true with my victory. Osleys is strong, tall, powerful, and I know he scares even the world’s elite… but not me, because I know my level. On October 8, I will not come to Québec as a visitor. I will come as a conqueror,” Zaren said in a press release.

In the evening's chief support, Ring Ambassador Wilkens Mathieu (16-0, 11 KOs) will return against experienced Vladimir Shishkin (17-2, 11 KOs). The 21-year-old will defend his regional 168-pound title, five months after an eighth-round stoppage of Olympic silver medalist Esquiva Falcao at the same venue.

"After beating Vladimir Shishkin, William Scull and Osleys Iglesias both went on to fight for world titles. So I sincerely hope the same thing happens for me, because I already feel ready to beat anyone in the world at 168 pounds," he said in the same press release.

The Eye of The Tiger event will also see WBA interim junior lightweight champion Leila Beaudoin (15-2, 2 KOs) defend her 130-pound crown against an opponent to be announced.

After surviving an early scare against Mickael Diallo in June, The Ring's No. 4 light heavyweight Imam Khataev (12-1, 11 KOs) will defend a regional title against Padraig McCrory (20-2, 10 KOs).

Dzmitry Asanau (13-0, 7 KOs) will take on stablemate Luis Santana (16-0, 7 KOs) with a trio of regional belts up for grabs, while featherweight Thomas Chabot (13-1, 8 KOs) faces Jose Antonio Romero (18-3-1, 6 KOs).

Rounding out the card, Erik Israelyan (6-0, 4 KOs) will meet Jesse Sallows (6-1, 5 KOs), Deylen Pepin (2-1) will see action while both men will seek their first professional win when Jacob Blais (0-1) takes on Yoan Trottier (0-2).
