Christian Mbilli and Canelo Alvarez both made weight on Friday for their WBC super middleweight title fight.
Alvarez stepped on the scale at 167.6 pounds, while Mbilli, who defends his title in the main event, was 167.8 pounds. The Ring’s “Mexico vs. The World card takes place at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will stream on DAZN PPV (10 a.m. ET/2 p.m. GMT) and as part of the DAZN Ultimate plan.
Both fighters last fought on the same card in September 2025. Alvarez, The Ring’s No. 1-rated super middleweight contender for its vacant title and a two-time undisputed champion at 168 pounds, lost to Terence Crawford by unanimous decision. Mbilli, The Ring’s No. 3-ranked fighter at the weight, fought to a back-and-forth split draw against Lester Martinez earlier in the night.
Mbilli, 31, was elevated from interim champion to full titleholder after Crawford retired in December.
