Benn's highly-anticipated return will come against Regis Prograis (30-3, 24 KOs) on the Fury-Makhmudov bill, it was announced Thursday.

In a press release, the latest Zuffa Boxing acquisition spoke fondly as he travels to north London once more after splitting an eventful two-fight series with Chris Eubank Jr at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2025.

"April 11 can't come soon enough, returning to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again, where I made history against Eubank Jr means everything to me. My last fight there showed the world exactly who I am and what I'm about.

"Fighting on the biggest stages, in the biggest shows, I fear no one. I'm fully locked in and ready to deliver another statement performance."

Their first meeting won The Ring's Fight of the Year acclaim and Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) was far sharper than Eubank second time around in November, flooring him twice and threatening a late stoppage before winning on points.

Houston-based southpaw Prograis was last in action three months earlier, outpointing Joseph Diaz (34-8-1, 15 KOs) in a competitive 10-round clash which saw both men hurt and exemplified his physical decline, one fight removed from fading badly down the stretch and hinting at retirement in defeat by Jack Catterall in Manchester.

Afterwards, the veteran contender stressed a desire to secure lucrative fights at this stage of his career. He heard plenty of noise but was unbothered by rising talents calling him out, attempting to snare a scalp at his expense.

Judging by his own comments in Thursday's press release, Benn is an exception.

"Last time I fought in London, Conor Benn was on my undercard, so this is a full-circle moment for me. But this circle will close with me teaching him a lesson on April 11th, he's not fighting some weight-drained super middleweight, I am in shape and will bring home this victory."

The full Fury-Makhmudov card will be announced soon, with two big British names now confirmed as the countdown continues to April 11, a show to be broadcast globally on Netflix.
