In April, Dubois comfortably beat Terri Harper to add the WBO and Ring titles to her own WBC belt, and she is fixated on becoming the undisputed 135-pound champion.

A fight between the surgically precise Dubois (13-0-1, 5 KOs) and the wild, unpredictable but extremely heavy-handed Turhan (14-0, 8 KOs) would attract plenty of attention but, for now, the two appear to be some distance away from coming to any kind of agreement.

Instead of preparing for a major unification fight, Dubois, 25, is getting ready to make a defense of her WBO and WBC titles against America’s inexperienced Amelia Moore (4-0, 1 KO). That fight will take place on an MVP show at BP Pulse Arena in Birmingham, England, on August 29.

"The amount that she asked for wasn't even a laugh out of the room. It was just something we ignored that because it was just so ridiculous,” Dubois told Sky Sports.

“She isn't about it. She thinks that she is something that she isn't and I'm really disappointed in her and how she's moving because it's all good to talk online. She asked for the most ridiculous number that you would, even if I told you, would think I'm lying.

"So she just isn't about it. She's a joker and what you do with jokers? You just leave them alone.

"That's retirement money. That's that never-fight-again type of money.”

Should she get past Moore, Dubois will turn her attention to a securing a unification fight with WBA lightweight champion Stephanie Han (13-0, 3 KOs).

In May, Dubois made the trip to Texas to watch the American box her way to a close, majority win over Holly Holm.

After the fight, Dubois sought out Han and the two came to an unofficial agreement on a future matchup.

After meeting the 35-year-old and looking her in the eye, Dubois is confident that when the time comes to talk money, Han won’t come up with an exorbitant figure.

"With Stephanie, I guess she recently just fought and it was great because I was able to be there. I shook her hand afterwards and we pretty much agreed to the fight and I hold her to that," she said.

"I believe her. I believe that she will not be trying to avoid that fight and we shook and hopefully we can make that fight happen next because she's about it and I like that energy about her. So I'm going to hold her to a promise and after this defense. I will definitely be going after Stephanie Han.”
