Jake Paul is still dealing with the repercussions of fighting Anthony Joshua.
Paul (12-2, 7 KOs) announced on Friday that he underwent a second jaw surgery after getting viciously knocked out by the former two-time heavyweight champion on December 19.
"Had to get another jaw surgery," Paul said on social media. "The screws and plates were coming loose because apparently I didn't rest for the past two months whaattttttttt."
Joshua brutally blasted Paul by sixth-round knockout and dropped him three times in the fight. The following day, Paul had his first surgery to repair a jaw fractured in two places; a pair of titanium plates were inserted on both sides of his jaw, and teeth also removed.
“We will heal the broken jaw, come back and fight people my weight,” Paul said after the Joshua fight. “I’m going for the cruiserweight world title.”
Paul has remained active in recent days, traveling to Italy for the 2026 Winter Olympics in support of his fiancée Jutta Leerdam, who won a gold medal for the Netherlands following a record-breaking performance in the women's 1,000-meter speedskating competition.
Paul also travelled to Armenia last week and was seen sightseeing around the country, snowmobiling with UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan.
Paul can keep himself busy by promoting his first MMA event while recovering. Most Valuable Promotions announced this week they'll be staging a fight between Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano on May 16 in Los Angeles.
