Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions is exploring the possibility of rescheduling his next event from Nov. 14 to a Friday evening in December, sources confirmed to The Ring.

Dec. 12 and Dec. 19 are two dates in play if the event is indeed rescheduled, sources said.

Paul is scheduled to face Gervonta Davis in an exhibition on Nov. 14 in Miami. However, MVP released a statement Saturday that it’s investigating the alleged domestic violence incident involving Davis connected to a lawsuit filed Thursday in Miami.

“We unequivocally condemn any form of violence and are committed to handling this matter with diligence and respect for all involved,” the statement read. “We will make a determination on next steps once we have completed our review and consulted with the appropriate parties.”

With Davis’ availability in jeopardy for the Netflix exhibition event in Miami, MVP has started exploded other high-profile boxers, sources confirmed. Among them: Ryan Garcia and Terence Crawford.

Garcia’s promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, said Saturday on social media that Garcia isn’t an option to face Paul due to Golden Boy’s contract with DAZN while “Paul fights on Netflix.”

The Ring later reported that Garcia is closing in on a deal to challenge welterweight titleholder Mario Barrios in the first quarter of 2026.

Davis’ ex-girlfriend accused him of aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress, per the lawsuit.

In the complaint, Rossel alleged Davis took her against her will Tuesday night out of Tootsie’s Cabaret, a Miami gentlemen’s club where she was employed as a VIP cocktail server.

Davis, 30, hasn’t competed since a draw with Lamont Roach in March. A planned August rematch was scrapped as Davis faced other legal issues.

Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix first reported that Paul’s next fight could shift to December, and that Garcia and Crawford were approached as possible replacements.
