One of The Ring's top pound-for-pound stalwarts of the decade is looking to revive his career.

Former flyweight and super flyweight champion Juan Francisco Estrada (44-4, 28 KOs) will kickstart efforts to become a three-division champion when he faces Karim Arce (21-2-2, 8 KOs) in a homecoming bout and bantamweight debut on June 14 at CUM Hermosillo in Mexico, Zanfer Boxing announced.

Estrada will be fighting for the first time since a seventh-round knockout loss against Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez last June, which ended his WBC and Ring title reign at 115 pounds. Estrada was dropped twice and counted out in the clash, but not before dropping Rodriguez himself.

Estrada was consistently ranked in The Ring's top 10 P4P rankings in recent years due to his close wins against Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez in 2021 and 2022 and victories against Carlos Cuadras in 2020 and versus Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in 2019 to avenge a 2018 majority decision loss.

"El Gallo" Estrada, 35, hasn’t been incredibly active in recent years, however, fighting just five times since 2020.

Arce, a 27-year-old from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, has only fought in Mexico throughout his 10-year career and is 2-3 in his last five bouts dating to 2021.

Also set to be featured on the card is a fight between Mexico's Camila Zamorano (11-0, 1 KO) and Japan's Mika Iwakawa (13-7-1, 4 KOs) for the WBC atomweight title.
