Former junior middleweight titleholder Israil Madrimov will take on Seymur Isayev on October 30 at Humo Arena in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Lift Promotions announced Wednesday.
Madrimov (11-2-1, 7 KOs), ranked No. 4 by The Ring in the 154-pound division, will fight for the second time in 2026, this time in a homecoming.
Madrimov last boxed January 24 in Las Vegas, where he scored a 10-round, unanimous-decision win against Luis David Salazar. The 31-year-old Madrimov drew criticism for his uninspiring performance against Salazar in what was his first fight in almost a year.
The victory nonetheless ended a two-fight slide for Madrimov, who had suffered competitive decision losses against Vergil Ortiz Jr. in February 2025 and Terence Crawford in August 2024. Madrimov won the WBA 154-pound title against Magomed Kurbanov in March 2024.
Isayev (15-2, 13 KOs) is an unknown Azerbaijan native who has scored three straight wins after suffering back-to-back stoppage losses to Mark Urvanov and Volkan Gokcek.
Pacheco-Fulghum Undercard Fights Announced
The undercard for the November 14 show headlined by the super middleweight matchup between Diego Pacheco and Darius Fulghum is taking shape.
Matchroom Boxing chairman Eddie Hearn disclosed that WBO flyweight champion Anthony Olascuaga (12-1, 9 KOs) will defend his title for a sixth time against 2016 Olympic silver medalist Yuberjen Martinez (7-0, 7 KOs). Recently signed British heavyweight David Adelaye (14-2, 13 KOs) will also make his United States debut against Alexander Flores (21-6-1, 19 KOs) and Charlie Sheehy (13-0, 8 KOs) will take on Gabriel Flores Jr. (27-3, 8 KOs) in a 10-round lightweight fight.
The event will take place at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. It’s an installment of “The Fight” series, DAZN’s partnership with U.S. television stations TNT and truTV.
“We’re back at ‘The War Grounds,’ which for me, is my favorite arena in all of California,” Hearn said. “It’s a brilliant card. This TNT linkup is really, really interesting for boxing, and great for us and our stars to drive their profiles.”
