The Ring's latest ratings are out and there are changes in five divisions, including at junior lightweight.
On Saturday, Emanuel Navarrete stated his case as perhaps the best 130-pound fighter in the world with a swashbuckling performance over Mexican rival Eduardo "Sugar" Nunez to unify the WBO and IBF titles.
Navarrete won by 11th-round TKO after the ringside doctor intervened to deem Nunez unable to continue due to a nasty cut above his right eye.
On the same card, Emiliano Vargas impressed with a ninth-round stoppage win over Agustin Quintana, while Tahmir Smalls lost to by Abel Ramos in an upset.
Elsewhere on the same night, Lorenzo Parra looked every bit a featherweight contender as he blasted out Elijah Pierce in the second round of their bout in Verona, New York.
And on a card over 7,000 miles away in the Philippines, Joseph Sumabong stopped Roland Toyogon in the sixth round of their 105-pound bout, while 108-pounder Regie Suganob beat Siphamandla Baleni by eighth-round knockout.
