Top Rank announced the deal on Wednesday. Martin, who moved up to 140 pounds last December, is expected to return in the fall.

“I’m excited to continue my journey under the Top Rank banner,” Martin said via a press release. “The company has a history of building stars. I want to continue building out my resume, become champion and stamp my legacy as one of them ones in the sport.”

Martin (19-1-1, 13 KOs) fought to a unanimous draw against Nahir Albright in a 10-round 142-pound catchweight bout Feb. 21 in Las Vegas. One fight prior, the 31-year-old from Detroit notched a spectacular fourth-round knockout of Rances Barthelemy in December of last year.

Martin fought for a world title at lightweight against then-WBA champion Gervonta Davis in 2024, but lost by eighth-round knockout.
