Judge Guido Cavalleri had it 95-94 for Picasso (33-2-1, 18 KOs), Jorge Gorini had the same scorecard in favor of Martin, while Barry Linderman had it a little wider at 96-93 for Martin (29-0, 21 KOs).

Martin’s speed and power-punching carried the day in a razor-thin bout where little separated him and Picasso. The Filipino southpaw got off to a good start as he routinely found a home for his straight left hands and right hooks.

Picasso worked his way into the fight with solid body work and when he was able to time Martin as he tried to dart to the inside. Picasso had the biggest moment of the fight early in the seventh round when he landed a solid jab that scored a knockdown, though Martin wasn’t hurt.

With the fight seemingly up for grabs entering the 10th and final round, Martin was more active, which likely was the difference on the judges’ scorecards.

Reito Tsutsumi continued to prove why he’s one of boxing’s most promising prospects.

He delivered a dominant showing, stopping Raymundo Rojas in the second round. The victory was Tsutsumi’s fifth straight after he went the distance in his pro debut in May 2025.

The 24-year-old Japanese southpaw wasted little time being the aggressor. He pushed Rojas (16-3, 11 KOs) back from the opening bell and at the outset, they both landed clean power shots. The tide quickly turned in Tsutsumi’s favor as he picked up the pressure and began to land more thudding punches.

Mexico’s Rojas, 29, began to show the effects of those shots at the end of the first round as he moved more frantically rather than standing in the pocket and trading with Tsutsumi (6-0, 5 KOs).

Tsutsumi broke through in the opening minute of the second round when he dropped Rojas to a knee with a blistering straight left hand. Sensing the end was near, The Ring ambassador ramped up the pressure. After forcing Rojas to a corner, he landed a combination of punches before a right hook dropped him for a second time.

Tsutsumi continued to batter Rojas with power shots. With Rojas’ back to the ropes, he landed one last combination of punches before referee Andrei Cheveliov stopped the fight.
